The Sunday Brunch Post, Episode X

DISCLAIMER: Brunch still not included.

I'm sure it can't have been two weeks already since I last sat down to type up one of these posts. Time is flying by, and I kind of feel like I barely have time to pause, look around and fully absorb everything that's going on.

Seriously though, if anyone knows how you're supposed to fit in working a full-time job, writing 3-4 blog posts a week, promoting said blog posts, keeping fit and healthy, reading books, reading blogs, keeping up with TV shows, having some kind of social life and getting enough sleep every night, please let me know the magic solution. Or if you know anyone with a time-turner...

Mildly interesting things that happened this fortnight:

As February was so busy and exhausting, I've kept my March weekends fairly free and relaxed, but I did have a really nice day with two of my best gals last Saturday, eating, drinking and wandering around London.

You might have seen already, but I went to see the amazing Lianne La Havas at the Royal Albert Hall on Monday night. I won't say too much more, because you can read all about that in my review of the concert!

Things that have kept me entertained:

I'm on extremely poor form with keeping up with TV shows and reading at the moment, but I have now finished season one of Game of Thrones, and have finally made the decision to continue to watch the TV series without having read the books first. This is quite a shocking move for me, but I think I will enjoy watching the show more not knowing what's coming, as it's definitely a series that thrives off plot twists and the surprise factor.

This fortnight’s haul:

This fortnight's purchase was a bit of a big one; I finally replaced the laptop I've had for about eight years. Crazy, right? I've been debating for what feels like forever whether to go for Windows or Apple, and I'm still not sure whether going for a MacBook was the right decision, but I am loving it so far. And it's making blogging an absolute dream.

I do however have the worst case of spender's guilt and probably won't be buying anything ever again.

Posts I’ve loved:

  • Phases of Robyn is one of my favourite fashion blogs to read, and I adore Robyn's latest outfit post.
  • I also love Charlotte's, from Colours and Carousels, outfit in her denim A-line skirt post. Wardrobe goals.
  • Becky from Becky Bedbug has featured some amazing books in her Top 10 books of all time post, and it's really got me thinking about which books I would choose.
  • Another outfit I've been crushing on is Elile's from Elle Next Door. And by the way, I am fully on board with the flatform.
  • I always enjoy posts that are centred around positivity, so I have to share Lauren's post from her amazing blog Britton Loves.

And finally, here’s a round-up of what I posted over the last two weeks, in case there’s anything you want to catch up on:
